Featuring 6 new garments to create in warm wools, wovens, jacquards, cottons, and perhaps silk.
These pieces craft a new capsule for cooler weather days, but can be made in lighter fabrics for Spring weather. It's all about the silhouette lines, bringing a new tint to 80's lagenlook, and comfort with style.

BEFORE THE WORKSHOP

What you will need to participate in this course.

A SEWING MACHINE
Nothing fancy, we are going to use a simple functional, and easy-to-use machine. My favorite and the most value for your money is the BROTHER Sewing/Quilting Machine. If you don't have one this is an amazing machine. We have a few in the studio for light work, buttonholes are easy peasy, and it comes with decorative stitches for our creative work.
The Bernina sewing Machines are wonderful and a bit more expensive we feature the Bernina 735 and it's truly a dream machine.

Other tools and necessities:

Fabric Scissors
Thread clipper
Measuring Tape
Fabric Pen
Pins (dressmaking pins are short and sharp, and Quilting needles are long and stronger. I use both.
A cutting surface - table about 45+" long, your dining room table. If you have none of the above, the floor or a bed with a flatboard works too.
Needles - machine and hand sewing
Thread - Polyester for machine sewing, silk or cotton for hand sewing.
